Real Life Diet Success Stories
"If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you’ll find an excuse." -Unknown
J.W. explains the positive effect the diet has had on her son E ...
Following this diet has been one of the best things I've ever done.
It's totally transformed my son's life for the better.
Despite his autism it allows him to be calmer, more communicative and free from a lot of the medical problems that he used to have pre-diet.
It does take a lot of time and effort, but is well worth it.

J.F. details how the diet has helped her son A. & A adds his own critique ...
To say that the diet has been a success for our son wouldn't be doing the diet justice. It has Changed His Life !
Our boy was a very poorly 7 year old. Severe constipation, hyperactivity , lots of pain and lengthy absences from school made his life extremely difficult. Prescription laxatives from the hospital were managing his symptoms but not solving the problem and every time the consultant reduced the doses his condition worsened.
We were desperate to help him.
If I'd known then what I know now, I would have started the diet three years earlier but we were medically advised that a gf/cf diet wouldn't help him. So naively I did nothing.
Over the next three years his symptoms worsened and now armed with more knowledge and a determination ( or perhaps stubbornness) to sort this out, we started the diet.
The range of foods that I cook for him is huge. He has more variety in his diet now then he ever did pre-diet and I know that everything that gets put on his plate is tasty, looks great and is keeping him healthy .
Cooking and baking has become second nature to me and I love creating new recipes. I have received loads of support and advice too from Marilyn and others on the diet and that is so important especially at the beginning when its new.
Now 14 years old our son is no longer constipated, he isn't on any laxatives and he is a calm, content teenager who is now learning to cook his own foods. In fact he would like every one to know that " the food is tasty and I am no longer in pain".
I have no doubts that starting the diet is the best thing I have ever done for my son.
